USA soccer should be giving soccer balls and nets to every school in the country. Baseball seems a bit more difficult, considering all the equipment involved.
It’s crazy how much it costs, having a 15 year old who is serious about baseball. $2500 seasons. $500 bats. And don’t get me started about the sliding mitt. Bravo to the stoner who said, “Hey—let’s give a few major leaguers some glorified oven mitts and charge $50 when the kids order them.” That person deserves a raise.
Below is my fancy fifteen year old tearing it up.
Well how’d they both grow up?
And how come we don’t make all these sports accessible to all who want. Damnit. Just when I think I know where I want donations for when I die (not imminently tho the Gates close at sundown Monday and it’ll all be sealed…) then I think how do I ask for all that is needed to help young people succeed?
Nice solid hit!
