Whenever I want to focus on the positive, I can’t help but think about the new library that opened up in my town over the past year. I’ve drawn comix there, seen concerts, done radio interviews, voted, done online class visits, and so much more. Libraries are the best thing the U.S. still does right now. We must protect them at all costs.
Speaking of libraries, I’ll be tabling at the ALA National Conference in June. It is in Chicago, so I hope to see some of my Windy City folk!

Very fortunate and thankful to have a high quality system up here in King County Washington. Our local always has a Read These Banned Books display. Libraries are the best!
My town has kept the library funding up. One of the branches is even open one more day a week now -- the one with the big emphasis on kids' books! The main one is open 6 days a week.
And there are no more late fees. No need for Conan.
