..is too short for this

I’ve always had a love/hate relationship with February. When I was first starting out as a cartoonist, it was the only month I would get work. Now that I have plenty of work all year long, I look forward to February because of how busy it is. I’m doing slideshows in Eugene, Or. and New Jersey. And a few other neat things that I cannot mention yet.

I just hope people understand that Black History is not the four or five heart-warming stories we share every year during this time. Black history is also the blood, sweat and tears millions of enslaved Africans shed for to build this country. It is American history.
